Before You Go

- Keep passport, ticket, and hotel details on your phone and on paper.
- Arrive at the airport 2–3 hours early for international flights.
At the Airport: Check-In
- Find your airline counter or use a kiosk.
- Show passport and booking code.
- Check your bag if needed; keep valuables in your carry-on.
- Get your boarding pass and note the gate number and boarding time.
Pro tip: Take a photo of your boarding pass in case the paper one gets crumpled.
Security Screening (Easy Version)
- Place laptop/tablet and liquids in the tray.
- Empty pockets and remove belt if asked.
- Walk through the scanner, then collect your things.
- Put your documents back in the same pocket every time.
Boarding the Plane
- Watch the screens for “Boarding” next to your flight number.
- Boarding is by groups/rows—follow staff instructions.
- Keep your small bag under the seat; big bag in the overhead bin.
During the Flight
- Buckle up when the sign is on.
- Sip water often and stand for a quick stretch on long flights.
- Use headphones and keep the cabin calm for everyone.
Jet lag tip: Set your phone to the destination time after takeoff.
Arrival & Immigration
- Follow Arrivals/Immigration signs.
- Queue for Foreign Passports (or e-gates if eligible).
- Show passport, boarding pass, and return ticket/hotel proof if asked.
- Pick up bags at Baggage Claim and exit through Customs.
What If Something Goes Wrong?
- Missed flight? Go to the airline desk immediately.
- Lost bag? Visit the Lost & Found/airline service counter before leaving the baggage area.
- Change of gate? Airport screens and airline apps show live updates.
